Central Africa's network of influential women is taking shape and, with five years of existence behind it, continues to foster exceptional networking. After welcoming more than 250 women leaders at Makutano 5, and having had the immense honor of receiving H.E. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Honorary President of Liberia, the Distinguished First Lady of the DRC, Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, and the Honorable President of the National Assembly of the DRC, Jeanine Mabunda, women business leaders will gather once again on December 5 at the Pullman Hotel.

Whether it is breaking the “glass ceiling” in companies, opening the path to higher education for young women in certain remote areas of the country or in disadvantaged communities, or guiding female students toward political or scientific careers, WIB works to implement innovative strategies tailored to African contexts in order to better communicate with and inspire women, and to break their isolation.
